Introduction to PMC: $100 + $40 Materials
Instructor: Linda Schmizzi
PMC, also known as “silver clay”, is a non-toxic, clay-like medium made from tiny silver particles in an organic binder–which allows the artist to shape, form and texture it like clay, then fire it for a finished piece made of fine silver. In this one-day workshop, students will learn the basics of working with PMC: applying textures, forming shapes, using syringe clay, and several different finishing techniques. Firing with a torch (a low-cost option) will be demonstrated and discussed. Yes, you will leave with finished jewelry! Please bring your lunch.
Metal Clay I & II

Metal Clay I introduces you to the exciting world of metal clay. Three pendants will be completed using different techniques. Copper and Bronze Clay and tools will be provided. Metal Clay II expands on the techniques learned in Metal Clay I. Three pendants will be completed using different cane techniques and construction of hollow forms. Copper, Bronze & Steel Clay and tools will be provided by the instructor. Lucy will fire your pieces between classes.
Metal Clay I & II
Metalsmithing I
Class Cost $75 MS I (2 Hours)
(Purchase Part I and Part II together and save $20)

This class introduces you to basic metalsmithing techniques. A small butane torch is used to create fine silver headpins. You will also make jump rings in a variety of sizes and shapes and solder them closed. Supplies furnished.
Metalsmithing II
Class Cost $75 (2 hours)
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Instructor: Lucy Romijn
In this class letter stamps will be used to stamp copper and silver to make your own word charms. A chasing hammer will be used to create a textured piece that can be used in a number of ways. Simple earwires will be created out of copper and sterling silver. Wire and charms are furnished for the projects. Tools are furnished for use in class or purchase.
Knitted Bracelet

Class Cost $90 (3-4 hours)
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Instructor: Lucy Romijn
You will create an embellished knitted bracelet made using 24 gauge wire. Prior knitting experience is helpful but not necessary. After the base is knitted decorative beads are added in a random pattern. All materials needed for the bracelet and knitting needles are included in the class fee.
Kumiimo I
Class Cost $40 (2 hours)
Level: Beginner

In this class you will use a kumihimo disk to produce a bracelet or keychain. Students will need to purchase a disk. Thread and a button or ring are provided.
Kumihimo II & III
Class Cost $60 each (3 hours)
Level: Intermediate Prerequisite: Kumihimo I
Instructor: Lucy Romijn
In II class students will produce a spiral necklace with seed beads woven into the necklace In the III class students will produce a 5 inch beaded focal bead that can be used in a bracelet or necklace. For both classes students will need to string their beads prior to class. An instruction sheet needs to be picked up when registering for class.
Wire work Components

Wire is the perfect medium for making beautiful jewelry. In this class you will learn how to coil, twist and add beads to the wire to create one of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. You will make several wire units ,bead units ,dangles and closures that will be put together to create a bracelet
Color Confidence for Beaders
Class Cost $40 (2 hours)

This class is based on color theory which teaches you what colors are harmonious and what are not.
Basic Peyote Bracelet
Class Cost $40 (2 hours)
Level: Beginner
Instructor: Paula Thomson
Learn the basic peyote stitch to make beautiful simple bracelets. Using this method, the patterns and color combinations you can make are endless. All materials included.
Advanced Peyote
Class Cost $90 (3 hours)
Level: Beginner/Intermediate

You will make a bold bracelet with a peyote base and a fringe cover on top of the peyote. Basic Knowledge of peyote helpful but not required. All material provided.
Wavy Beaded Bracelet
Class Cost $90 (2 hours)

You can use pretty much anything with this bracelet. I love using pearls and crystal but we can use round gemstone or other round beads that are either 4mm or 6mm too. You will make an elegant bracelet that makes waves across your wrist.
Ring Marathon
Class Cost $75 (2 hours)
Level: Beginner/Intermediate

You will learn to use 20 gauge wire and a ring mandrel to make 5 different rings. You will learn several techniques so that you can make a ring with nearly any bead. All materials provided.
Woven Spiral Bracelet
Class Cost $75 (2 hours)
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Instructor: Paula Thomson
You will learn to make a stunning bracelet where the beads spiral around the center of the bracelet. We can use crystal or pearls – nearly anything will work for this one. This method is very versatile. All materials provided.
Twisted Wire Bracelet with Coiled Clasp
Class cost: $40 (90 minutes)
Level: Beginner
Instructor: Robin Groch Incorporate your favorite coin or faceted stones into a copper wired bracelet. Free form wire wrapping and coiling wire technique used to create your own personal fashion statement. No experience necessary but its helpful if you know how to make basic loops already. If not, we can show you how. You will learn basic wire wrapping techniques and how to make a coiled swan clasp. Materials are separate so you can pick out what you like.
Coiling Gizmo (TM) FunClass Cost: $40 (90 minutes)Level: Beginner,Instructor: Robin Groch
Learn how to use the Coiling Gizmo to create coiled beads for earnings, necklaces, and bracelets. In this class you will learn how to use coils for making basic wire beads, single and double coils, and make coiled beads with seed beads. Choose your own materials to create earrings or bracelets.
Basic Jewelry Making
Class Cost $65 (3 hours)
$25 Single class
Level: Beginner
Instructor: Chitwan
This class will cover professional construction and repair techniques, leaving the student with a knowledge of jewelry making that is anything but basic. You will complete three projects. Students will need to purchase their beads and findings. Tools will be provided.
Wire-Wrapping Simplified
Class Cost $40 (2 hours)
Level: Beginner
Instructor: Chitwan
This class covers all the special skills required to construct a linked wire wrapped necklace or bracelet. Students will complete a wrapped bracelet and/or pair of earrings. Students will need to purchase their beads and findings.
Private Instruction
Private instruction can be scheduled with Chitwan or Lucy.Hourly prices will be determined based on the project
Crocheted Bracelet or Earrings
Class Cost $70 (3-4 hours)Level: Basic-Advanced.Instructor: Robin Groch
In this class students will have the option of completing a crocheted cuff bracelet or crocheted earrings with beads using 26-28 gauge wire (copper, silver artistic wire, brass or natural bronze). Crochet hook, wire and beads are provided.
